Our Rabbi
Rabbi Chaim Yeshaya Freeman is an Atlanta native and graduate of Torah Day School. After completing his studies here he went to Mesivta of Long Beach, NY for High School, then in Yerushalayim under Rav Dovid Soloveitchik in Yeshivas Brisk. From there he went to the esteemed Beit Medrash Govoha in Lakewood where he studied for 5 years and received his semicha. Most recently, Rabbi Freeman was in kollel in Denver, Colorado for 5 years. He published a sefer, titled Toras Chaim, with divrei torah and divrei halacha on each parasha. In addition to his duties with Netzach Israel, Rabbi Freeman is teaching classes in Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael and Temimah High School. His wife, Mira, is an early childhood educator and works along side him to strengthen our community. They are blessed with four children: Raizy 6, Yisroel Aharon 5, Yosef Shalom 3, and Meir Simcha 2.
Rabbi Emeritus
Rabbi Yehuda Boroosan is originally from Shiraz, Iran and received his semicha from the Ner Israel Rabbinical College. Together with his wife Devora, he served as the Rabbi of Netzach Israel for over 20 years all while employed by the Orthodox Union, as the Rabbinic Field Representative and Mashgiach for the southeast region of the United States. He has over 25 years of experience working in the food industry and has extensive knowledge regarding the commercial production of food and household products. His wife, Devora, is an educator with over three decades of experience in teaching, counseling, and community leadership. Together with his wife, Rabbi Boroosan built the community for many years before passing the baton to Rabbi & Mrs. Freeman. The Boroosans are blessed with 7 children and many grandchildren living in Israel and America.
